Here's a quick peek at what was happening over at our place this past weekend. It involved another sewing hack experiment - this time with recycled ties. Watch for a mini how-to tutorial later this week.

Have You Ever Seen...?

Have you ever seen bottle caps this beautiful?

No, me neither. Until now. 

52-year old Yoav Kotik in Israel creates beautiful and wearable art from the unappreciated bottle cap. He calls his line "Precious Metal" - a name I find particularly intriguing, given the fact that most people view bottle caps as used and discarded trash that has already served its purpose.
