Enjoy my little homage to Mr. Goodwill Hunting's "I <3 Thrifting" event this past Saturday.
Yes, I went thrifting...but you'll see that I had a couple of distractions along the way!
If you want to see the stash I came home with - and what kinds of ideas are swirling in my head that I'll do with that stash - check out my pictorial I HEART THRIFTING post.
Note to self...must learn to better hold steady while walking with video camera!
Until next time...
Michael
I didn't have time right now to watch the whole video, but I think you did GREAT with that video! Loved hearing your voice too ... (loved the color coordinated thrift shop).
ReplyDeleteThe difference between you and me is that I love thrifting for the cheap clothes ... you see beauty in unassuming things and make them gorgeous!
WOW! Such an amazing video. I need to make my way to Sweden. So glad you were able to join us!!!

Seriously LOVE Emmaus!
ReplyDeleteWow! Un flapping believable! What town is this Emmaus in? After reading all the Stieg books I was interested in visiting, but I would need a container to send stuff back. Which brings me to: How much would a container cost? Wouldn't that be great to buy all this stuff and send it to the US. We could meet you at the port, or bonding warehouse. It could be an international junk trade event. The book section was mind boggling, but are they all in Swedish? I went to the Denver event. It was fun, but exhausting. I can't believe the place Rashon went.. It was huge. Glad to find you. Ann
ReplyDeleteSpinning wheels? And what's with that wonderful green cubby shelf. Oh, please, gods, make a thrift store for me that's bigger than a closet.
