I think this list could go on and on...but it's only a day's worth of inspiration. Perhaps I'll put a larger collection together soon - interested?
Until next time...

ReplyDeletemakes ya smile, right?
DeleteI'm so doing the lamp with old Star Wars toys. Just have to find some.
ReplyDeleteI want to do a lamp as well - Have small kids at home so I've been secretly cleaning out their supplies of worthless plastic toys. Hope the kids aren't permanently scarred for life !
DeleteBest internet post in a Long Time! I have pinned the toy lamp, but I love the chair. I think I will make the lego bracelet! I am going to pin everything I don't have. Make a longer post if you can. Don't you love the Barbie chandelier? I've never seen so many Barbies with clothes on! Ann
ReplyDeleteHey Ann - WOW! Thanks for such a great compliment. This was a fun post to do the research for - and yes, I do think I could put together a larger collection so I'll work on that. You made me laugh with your last comment...because it seems like ALL my daughter's Barbies end up naked. What is that about?

Too cool. What fun to reminisce with all those toys, new and old. The silver toy lids are very eye-catching and the mixed toy groups as lamps are so powerful.
ReplyDeleteHi Brian - I'm saving my kid's little plastic toys now...have a good sized box of them to try something with - all the while for kicking myself for getting rid of so many a few years ago. Think I'm gonna try a lamp.

ReplyDeleteI did see your lamp - pinned it to my 'recycled toys' board at Pinterest. Great results! I'm having fun watching your projects. Where in Sweden are you located? I'm also in Sweden.

Recycling toys is better than buying a new one. First, for sure what you can make is very unique. Second, it is cheaper since it is recycle. Last, your creativity has been put here, for sure you will enjoy making one.
